Wine Country Cooking Classes
Enjoy a dream day in Napa Valley with a hands-on cooking class with me. I’m a Chez Panisse-trained chef and the author of Wine Country Table, Fresh from the Farmers’ Market, Eating Local and more than two dozen other cookbooks. My cooking is casual, strictly seasonal and ingredient driven, inspired by California’s endless bounty. I begin each class with a review of the recipes, demonstrating key techniques. Then you’ll break into teams and prepare the lunch or dinner menu yourself under my guidance. You’ll leave with a folder of the day’s recipes so you can confidently reproduce the meal at home.
Guests’ dietary restrictions will be noted at the time of booking and I’ll make every effort to accommodate them. It may not be possible to accommodate dietary restrictions that are not mentioned at the time of booking. The classes are not suitable for vegans.
A hands-on cooking class is a fun and educational way to gather with friends and family to celebrate a birthday or a reunion and experience an unforgettable day in Wine Country. A private cooking class with a Napa Valley food writer will be the highlight of your Wine Country visit.
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (3-course lunch class)
5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (4-course dinner class)
Price per person: $225 for lunch class ($1,600 minimum); $265 for dinner class ($1,800 minimum); alcoholic beverages not included.
